Oddly enough, one of the funders was a resident of Nob Hill building one. A bit too close to home perhaps? My dad actually played a small role in this one. He works for a local bank, and the FBI approached him over 2 years ago about some suspicious accounts. The bank had been monitoring these selected accounts and reporting any activity to the feds. The money was being wired to Jordan, where it was then re-routed to Iraq. After that, its anyone's guess where it ended up. After the Feds felt they have enough evidence to stick, they made their move. BTW, I'm a friend of Doug's.
