Laying out, big time

We played in the rain today. Syracuse Ultimate meets every Tuesday and Thursday, rain or shine. Exceptions are made for hail and tornados. I'm officially really f***ing sore after laying out poorly in the mud. After this, I'll actually be looking forward to "just" riding 60 miles on my bicycle per day.

Good work on the Ultimate, Reid. Say hello to Darren and Ian for me. In terms of laying out, momentum is your friend. Do not slow down prior to making that leap of faith for the disc. Also, construct no thoughts of falure and embrace no element of fear. That is when you end up holding back and landing on hips, shoulders, knees, and elbows. If it is a good layout, the mud and blood will all be on the front of your shirt.
